Scoring
Each session the total number of games won are recorded.
eg. Ben:1 Jason:2 Tom:3
There are two tracked scores; the championship score, and a total wins score
Each session, the total games won for each player is added to the total wins
score. There may be no-shows who will therefore not have their count increase.
The difference from the lowest player attending games won is also recorded and added to the championship score for each player
In the previous example, Ben would get no change, Jason +1, and Tom +2
If at the end of the year, any players are tied with their championship score, games are played until there is a different score for each player.
Prize pool
For each player who attends, $1 is added to the pot for each point of difference between their championship score
added, and that of the highest scoring player. E.g Ben would add $2, Jason $1.
If a player becomes a legend (remains on court for a full hour of play), $10
is added to the pot, split
equally between all other players in that session.
At the end of the year, players add money to the final pot as follows:
- Player with the lowest total wins score - $25
Marked as "Lowest Total Wins" on the chart
- Player with the lowest championship score - $75
Marked as "Championship Score Penalty" on the chart
- Player with the second lowest championship score - $50
Marked as "Championship Score Penalty" on the chart
The player with the highest championship score is declared the squash champion for 2024.
